Aerosmith’s, “I don’t wanna miss a thing,” is playing in my head because I feel like if I blink, October will be OVER. I’d be okay, because I’m a November baby but that also means we’re that much closer to Christmas and I want to enjoy this time of year as much as possible.
Any who..HAPPY FRIDAY my friends! This week has been all over the place. I am currently participating in Spookathon which ends this Sunday. I’ve been daily Vlogging over on my Youtube channel, trying to squeeze posts out for Blogtober and writing articles for Frolic. Oh, and Priorities..doing school work!
I am currently about 66% of the way through Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction by Lisa Kroeger and Melanie Anderson.
This book is a true gem, and one I’d highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of women writers. If you’re a fan of horror novels, gothic novels..it’s perfection. I can feel it..I am going to recommend this book anytime the opportunity presents itself.
I will more than likely get that one finished today. I don’t know how much reading I’ll get done this weekend because (yay!) my little brother is coming to visit. When I find the time though, I will more than likely give Every Secret Thing a try by Susanna Kearsley
I have tried and retried to read this book before, so I’m hoping this weekend to just go for it and get it over with!
I still have two other books on my Spookathon TBR but being such a mood reader, I am already feeling not in the mood to pick them up, so we’ll see what happens!
For my post on Sex Positivity in one of my recent reads, Prince of Sin by Cass Ford, check out my post over on Frolic Media here.
Over on Youtube, I posted my Holiday Romance 5 Star Predictions Video!
And you can also check out my vlogs so far from Spookathon, where I update you on the books I’m reading. ♡♡
Let me know what you are reading this weekend. I hope it’s amazing for you! We will chat again soon. Until then, please take care of yourselves.
